hd4.hdf and RO5

I have been trying to set up RPCEmu running RO5 to have an ADFS disc, after downloading the blank hd4.hdf in Blank256Eplus.zip., but without success.

Then I tried it with RO439, and it worked.

Should the hdf discs work with RO5? Or perhaps I have done something wrong?

Emulated hard discs (and CD-ROMs) are disabled at RISC OS 5 due to a data loss bug. It’s mentioned in the release notes: https://www.marutan.net/rpcemu/ro5.html
