RPCEmu for RISC OS or Raspberry Pi OS

Did anyone made progress with a working RPCEmu for RISCOS (could even be a full screen only one like !AcornMode emulator does) or a Raspberry Pi Os version? This would simplify compatibility testing for me, especially now that my PC laptop which is a company one treat non-encrypted devices (USB drives, etc) as read only. |

Yes, I’ve recently built RPCEmu for Raspberry Pi OS on an RPi 5. Early days but it seems to work. In fact, I’m using it right now to post this! It’s a bit sluggish for every day use (for me, anyway) but should be okay for some testing. I wonder, is this the first use of RISC OS on a 64-bit only machine? |

I’m pretty sure I’ve run RPCEmu on my 64-bit-only Mac. |

Presumably you’re running the Interpreter version? |

I seem to remember -someone here running Linux RO on the Pi5 – no sound though. Any ideas on increasing RPCEmu memory from 256Mb to 512Mb? |

Ever thought of running !Virtualise, Colin? https://github.com/thoukydides/riscos-virtualise |
