hide menu bar? (win)

Is it possible to hide the menu (settings) bar on the windows version?

Half a year on, I’m wondering the same thing. Any word? In full screen mode you lose the very top part of the RISC screen.

Fullscreen mode has a lot of problems on all Windows configurations :)
Anyway, an automode (fill the window) for RISC OS under RPCEmu would be great.

Use Anymode and modify the settings of the RO mode to give the screen dimensions that match the size of the window.
That’s my standard setup for RPCEmu.
Now if I could persuade Windows to open the application window with top left truly top left I’d be fine¹.

Can’t think why I hadn’t registered that one. Maybe it behaved differently on the XP machine.
Now Win 7, shortcut, “Run Maximised” combined with Anymode and a screen definition matching the screen area minus the windows bar at the bottom.

As an aside,(why waste thread space?) it looks like Ricks timezone stuff made it through testing so there’s some improvement of that AND Colin’s LanMan modifications in tomorrows ROM.

;-) I will make available in a day or two a softload UK Territory module that contains CET and CEST timezones, for those of us in Europe that would like to use local time without hassles…
Might even get automatic DST changes too. Whoo.
