Parallel copies of RPCEmu on same machine?

Is it possible to have two installations of RPCEmu on the same WinPC (in order to have a choice between ROS 4.02 and 5.16, for instance)? Assuming it was, presumably they could not be run simultaneously?

Don’t see why not… it’s certainly possible in Linux. There they will run simultaneously just fine.

And the answer seems to be that yes, two copies of RPCEmu (RO 5.16 and 4.02 respectively) /will/ run simultaneously on the same WinPC (in this case a Dell XP 1.5GHz Celeron laptop, so not exactly bleeding-edge…). There didn’t appear to be any performance hit. !Speed gave HD read/write speeds of 10MB/sec and 6MB/sec respectively on the 4.02 version. Opening and manipulating a 4MB JPEG using Thump or SwiftJPEG was much slower than the Iyo, as are the HD speeds above, but I wouldn’t have expected stellar performance from such a low-spec XP laptop. The main point is that, just like any other Windows app, two copies of RPCEmu can be open at once.
