Installing on Linux

Has anyone got RPCEmu to run on an Asus eeepc runing Xandros linux?

I got it running easily on an early Asus Eee netbook (this was about 3 years ago) which I had installed Ubuntu on, dual booting with Xandros, so if you don’t have any joy with Asus’s locked-down Xandros, you might want to go down that route. Installing Ubuntu was easy as well, and gave me access to a lot more software.

Doesn’t work on Xandros linux – cmake not found.

Not to worry – just idle curiosity. Being a home worker I tend to use my eeepc as an internet radio. I’d rather have an iPad version of RPCEmu!

I had this issue a few years ago with Xandros on an eeePC, in the end an upgrade to a more recent distribution did the trick.
