VRPC, Max OS, NetSurf, URL resolution

Is this an appropriate place to ask if anyone uses VRPC on Mac OS?

There is an old Mantis case (2106) concerning NetSurf failing to resolve any URI in version 3.0, and confirmed in a later CI version (but still a long time ago), whereas version 2.9 was OK.

I’m wondering whether the problem has been solved in the intervening period and therefore whether the case can be closed.

No, the issue remains, now on macOS High Sierra with Netsurf #4214.
