Hifiberry and jack sound

Hi there,

One of my Raspberry Pis has an Hifiberry Dac+ board. It seems this add-on is not supported on Risc OS, so I have to use on-board audio with it, wich is good enough for me.
The problem is that it’s not ouputting audio via Pi’s internal jack, even if I add “hdmi_drive=1” on config.txt.
HDMI audio works, both with “hdmi_drive=2” or without it. But with “hdmi_drive=1” the system goes silent on all outputs.
So, what is going on here? It works on another Pi with no Hifiberry, same system SD card.

The latest recommended way to default to the 3.5mm jack socket is the following in the CONFIG/TXT file:
