Hello, I just have a short and stupid question: Can I download !ResEd and !ResTest somewhere from the ROOL website? I could not find it when looking for it. Is it part of a HardDisc image – it was not mentioned to be included? Thanks! |

Both of these came with the ROOL Development Kit. |

Yes, you can, but it is hidden: /content/downloads/desktop-zipfiles. That page is not maintained, so the files there are often not the most recent version. |

Ok, thanks, I found it! But I think this pages should be linked from the software section because it contains some important packages, I think. Especially if RISC OS for the Raspberry PI comes out there should be easy access to all programming tools including !ResEd etc. |

We’d love to link to those pages, but they were a real PITA to keep up to date. Once the big Raspberry Pi release is well out of the way, we may re-visit that now we’ve got an autobuild server present which could theoretically be made to regenerate all of those downloads nightly. |

Hi Steve, was this ever revisited please? I’ve done a quick search on the net for ResEd but can only find a version which needs Aemulor ( in the External Tools archive at http://appbasic.jettons.co.uk/downloads/index.html ) Any pointers to another source appreciated :) |

I put version 0.51 into the packaging project a long time ago so you could use PackMan to download it. Otherwise download the packages directly from: http://www.riscpkg.org/arm/ResEd/ResEd_0.51 Then drop them on SparkPlug or SparkFS and extract them from the zip file. |

Has anyone got newer versions of ResEd/ResTest/ResCreate built that they could put somewhere for me to download? I’m updating my packages for the new component format and I’d like to update these to the latest version at the same time. |
