I enter the name of the SH file into A$ then run CleanCopy and it tells me that Manual name is needed at 230. |

I have already replied about half an hour ago to your duplicate earlier post on csaa. It would help to reduce clutter if you gave readers a chance to reply on one before duplicating elsewhere. |

I think 4 hours is a chance -eh? But thanks for your response. |

It’s not immediately obvious, but it is in the help file(s). !StrongHelp > Help > About StrongHelp > StrongHelp Reference Manual > Misc …ah, got it. You have to have installed !Manuals for this to work. |

Hardly. Wind back a few years when I was regularly on csa and I’d probably not look at the feed more than about two times in an evening while the daytime was occupied by the employment stuff. These days you’d be lucky to find me reading csa once a week. So, even it its heyday you’d not get an answer from me inside a few hours except by accidentally matching my time on line. |

Not necessarily. The Searching facility (link below Navigation) is also one I use a lot (and is much harder in any HTML manuals). So, although the pages to look at may not be obvious, a search for clean* in either the User Guide or Reference Manuals would find the pages – and it is instantaneous even in large manuals. |

With all due obeisance to your ubiquity, there are others who read c.s.a.a. |

Indeed, and at one time I was a regular. That said, even as one of the more regular ones 4 hours would have been a rather short gap. Which I think is the point Martin was making. Patience is not just a board game. |

Isn’t the easiest way to drag the manual to the StrongHelp icon, and then a window opens with CleanCopy as an option? |

Quite! – but see my 3rd post on this topic, above. |

TBH I recall doing precisely the same as you at some point. So I tweaked it to assume that leafnames (ie “OS” without any path) must be in <Helpdata$Dir> and to ask for a manual name if there was nothing on the command line (the latter is only reasonable with the addition of the former). |
