Hi all Apologies if this has been covered before (if so it was a while back!) Any advice appreciated – thanks |

I’ve just tried the “AemulorRPC” version on RPCEmu 0.9.1 running RISC OS 5.27 (13 Nov 2019) and it seems to work as expected. The website mentions that you have to patch RPCEmu if you want to run Aemulor on RISC OS 5.24 – is that what was going wrong? I can’t test this myself as I don’t have the build tools to patch RPCEmu :-( I suggest you try it with a recent build of RISC OS 5.27 (October 2019 or later) instead of RISC OS 5.24. |

In my experience, RPCEmu has to be in StrongARM emulation mode in order to coax Aemulor to work. Only tested here on 5.27 though. |

Stuart thanks. I had been trying 5.27 fished out of the Iyonix Beta Tungsten softload (RPCEmu refused to start up) and I hadn’t tried 5.27 out of the RiscPC/A7000 Beta IOMD (!) and… RISCOSBits I’d completely forgotten about RPCEmu’s Settings/Configure so once IOMD 5.27 rom file was in place and Hardware emulation set to StrongArm Aemulor seems happy. One of those trial-and-error things that needed a half hour sit down and undivided attention. Thanks again guys :) |
