SDCreate... Help!

I’m trying to create a new SD card for my BeagleBoard -xM Rev C1. Done it in the past without problems but can’t seem to manage it now. Using SDCreate 1.27 I’m getting the error, ‘Decompressing blank image…. Bad input for module Squash at 175’. It does appear to be making the partitions – one small FAT32 32MiB and another labelled SCSI::C48C-3C35.$ – but getting no further. I’m doing this on the BeagleBoard with the 12-03-20 ROM, the same ROM version for SDCreate. I’m using the same files, MLO and U-BOOT, that I’ve used successfully in the past. PlingBoot is a nightly updated version. FrontEnd is 1.34 and DDEUtils is 1.75. Been a long time since I last did this. Perhaps I’m missing something obvious? |

This is a known bug in SCSIFS 1.35, as supplied with RISC OS 5.27. The fix is to soft-load SCSIFS 1.33. See ticket 464 for details. |

Thanks Stuart. Thought I was losing the plot. Having read the ticket, looks as if I should be glad all is on uSD. |

Next question for the uninitiated (me). How do I gain/extract a copy of SCSIFS 1.33? |

Sprow’s first comment on ticket 464 contains a .ZIP file with SCSIFS 1.33 and 1.34. |

Hmm, annoying. Help SCSIFS now shows I have v1.33 running yet the original problem persists. |

Same behaviour writing to file so presumably nothing to do with SCSI. |

I had to make the bootimage by hand once and now it works again: |
