ShareFS - Saved disc option

Hi I have an issue on my Beagleboard, Pi and Iyonix running 5.19, also 5.18 on Iyonix, when I come to adding additional shared disc icons to the iconbar and saving the view. If I have SharedDisc1,SharedDisc2 and SharedDisc3 then I I can use the ShareFS>Save Choices option and it saves OK. If I then try to add a fourth shareddisc it does so to the iconbar but when I come to save it gives the following error: “The computer cannot store details of all shared discs currently in use. Choose Ok to store details of: SharedDisc1, SharedDisc2, SharedDisc3.” If I try the same on a RiscPC with either 4.39 or 6.20 then it saves the fourth disc icon OK All the the RISC OS 5 machines have the latest harddisc and !Boot image dated 23rd Oct. I think ShareFS possibly stores information about the other mounts in CMOS. There could be a different allocation of CMOS memory on the ROL fork of the OS. Or possibly RISC OS Select has changed to saving this stuff in Choices rather than CMOS? |
