!System merge

Having downloaded the latest harddisc4 image, I tried to do a ‘System merge’ to my boot drive and got the following.

'ADFS::Titanium1.$.!Boot.Resources.!System.!Boot' does not appear to be suitably structured
'ADFS::Titanium1.$.!Boot.Resources.!System.!Run' does not appear to be suitably structured

The same thing happened on the ARMX6.

Checking the contents of Boot and !Run on the hard drive and in the harddisc4 image, they appear to have identical contents.

So what is going on?

Reporter revealed those messages here too. How very odd!!

Not sure if it’s related but a few days ago I had to start from scratch. Ie using SystemDisc, ROM image, HD4 etc. To get the system chugging I had to use some of the files from Choices on the bootstrap SD card (The one with SystemDisc etc) then run ResetBoot to populate things properly.

The copying files may or may not have been necessary. But I do know that ResetBoot was absolutely necessary to populate everything and get everything working. I’ve never needed to do that before.
