I would like to test out the latest development images for Raspberry Pi. I can only seem to find links to the stable pi img file. Where can I find the development/nightly images? |

The full ‘RISC OS Pi’ distribution doesn’t have a nightly build. It looks like there may an RC16 in the works. You can download the nightly ROM image and HardDisc4 from here. They could be used to upgrade a Pi distribution. |

RC16 was released on 14th June – this is a 2Gbyte SD card image and contains ‘latest’ firmware plus updated rom plus updated HardDisc4 as well as the usual extras. It includes the necessary stuff for the Ethernet sockets on the Pi 4 to work but you will need (on the Pi 4) to use the power input socket to connect keyboard and mouse via a hub and supply power to the GPIO pins or, in some circumstances, via the hub. If you have a Pi 4 then you may need to update the EEPROM bootloader – see the rapsberry Pi site for how to create an SD card that does just this (and nothing else). Then you can download a daily Pi rom and put it in !Boot.Loader to try it. |
