Since July 2020 Credutcard payments are not possible anymore. Please change the payment possibilities to creditcards directly, not over Paypal. Paypal is just not working anymore for people from Austria, Germany and Switzerland if their name contains ‘Umlaute’. |

Can you recreate your card details with the “ae” and/or “ue” put back? After all, it’s supposed to reflect what is on the card, not whatever PayPal thinks it ought to be. [and that, PayPal, you dumbasses, is why it isn’t working any more – the name held no longer matches the name as it is printed on the card (feel free to quote me)] |

The stupid thing about is, paypal does not allow to change more as two charcters in the name. It also does not allow to use ‘Credit-card Owner-name’ Seems since corona, Amerika got really to be #1 ( of d**b a***s). Does covid affect the brain? |

Then how do they expect you to complete card payments?
Actually….yes. The more I hear about this bloody virus, the worse it gets. |

The more I hear about Paypal, the worse it gets. I have suggested elsewhere on this forum that there should be alternatives to using Paypal for donations to ROOL, for example, bank transfer; but nothing was done. Where is ROOL? Are they going to give people options other than Paypal? |

Last time I made a payment to ROOL, I used a bank transfer through TransferWise (https://transferwise.com/). |

Before I got Covid, and string of other things, I was busy sorting out access to assorted websites the clinicians were reading.
I wonder if that is why some people don’t notice any symptoms :) |

Last time I donated ROOL by a simple SEPA bank transfer from my account. Of course if you are donating them in EUR a certain fee is taken by the bank but it seems not so much as if doing exact transfer in GBP. As donations are not required to have a certain amount it is an easy way. You can combine it with some buyings. |

In some banks, SEPA transfers are referred to as “shared charges”, which sounds scary if your aim is to avoid giving the recipient charges to pay at their bank when you send them money. The terms used may vary from bank to bank. |
