PackMan Problems (0.9.5)

I’ve installed PackMan 0.9.5 on my ArmBook, and it seems to be saying that a lot of my installed stuff isn’t suitable for the environment, even though they work fine. I’ve tried clearing the caches and redownloading the lists. I actually wanted to upgrade GCC, but it’s now decided that it needs to remove half my other stuff as well. I did consider just letting it do so, but I’d rather not lose a whole load of things. Have I missed anything? The sources seem to be saying armv5 and thirdparty – should I be using armv7? It’s an Armbook so Cortex-A53 CPU which is I think ARMv8. Anyone any hits as to how to sort out the muddle? Cheers Chris |

I’ve managed to stop it wanting to do a whole load of stuff by removing !Packages.Selected. Sill a load of red triangles but at at least I can install things again :) |
