Can Open RISC OS handle the following media types?

.MOV
.MP4
.AVI
.MKV

ffplay, mplayer … yes.

Those are all container types holding any number of different video formats. ffplay and mplayer may handle some of them, but not others. Without using hardware video acceleration, the CPU power will limit the size of video that can be played in realtime.
