Missing toolbox modules?

I have been trying to use RO5 on RPCEmu. Just to make sure , this is for a copy running in Linux. I have used stable rom and discimage , but complains about the toolbox modules not being found. Same for latest rom and image. What am I doing wrong?! |

That is strange, because most Toolbox modules are in the ROM! |

Yes they are in ROM. Unplugged. |

It sounds like you need to do the RPCEmu equivalent of clearing CMOS. I remember having ‘fun’ with it when switching ROMs in the past! |

Something to reset the status of all modules is probably the answer. Manually (or small utility) listing all unplugged modules and "Insert"ing them would do. Or there’s OS_Byte 161 and 162 |

You don’t have UnplugTBox running somewhere in the boot sequence, by any chance? |

Oooh, I think that’s a good call as Michael has been working with RO4.02 as the ROM in the early stages. 4.02 needs to do that to bring in the disk based updates. I wonder if that UnplugTBox could be modified to only run when the OS is 4.x? I think the standard advice, which he will remember anyway, is to rename the old |

Cmos was the trick, i reverted to cmos.ram from the rpcemu distribution.. configured it in linux , problem solved! |
