Pi4 - problems with Printers.PDF3

I’m having problems outputting PDF files using the PDF3 driver on Printers (version 1.89 dated 28-Feb-18) on a Pi4. The ROM is 5.27 (11-Oct-18) and the HD image was the beta image available on the date of download, 10 October. The PDF3 driver is dated 11-Nov-15. As far as I can tell I have installed it and the PoScript3 driver correctly – the required GhostScr is ‘seen’ by the boot sequence before Printers is loaded – and PrintPDF is version 1.13, the latest available, but attempts to print to PDF get as far as the generation of a PDFFile/pdf for download, which then hourglasses perpetually whilst !Usage shows ‘Print PDF Child’ at 100% until I lose patience and press Alt-Break. The PoScript driver on the other hand does generate a valid Printout/ps file, which the PDF driver on my Pi3 will print successfully. Has anyone else encountered problems with outputting PDFs on a Pi4?

To answer my own post – Simples, GhostScr was well out of date (2006)! Installing the latest version 8.71 via PackMan solved the issue.
