Printing problems with Virtual Acorn, Acorn RiscPC via Windows 10

I wonder if you can help me with a problem which I have encountered over the last month. When I try to print from Virtual Acorn or Acorn Risc PC I receive an error message which reads “Printer in use. Either the Windows PC is not connected or the Uniprint.exe server application is not running”. The PC is running Windows 10 Home 64bit, and has all the latest updates!!!! I have checked that the printers are running when printing directly from Windows 10, so all the connections are correct. Have you heard of any problems which have occurred since the latest updates of Windows? The Uniprint application is not the latest, it is 3.20, but has served me very well as I use my PC, RiscPC and VA for home use only and do not carry out much printing, but do use !Style, !Pipedream and !Personal Accounts4 all which run either on Acorn RiscPC or Virtual Acorn. |

I have just found the problem which was causing my not being able to print from Virtual Risc and Acorn RiscPC. When I set up the router I set the IP addresses to be Static, but for some reason, this had changed to Dynamic I have changed the destination IP addresses in question and set them to Static, all appears to be well. I have posted this as it might help others who could have a similar problem. |

On first glance I assumed it was the old chestnut of share premissions, but obviously not. If you print to the name of the device offering the share then the DNS takes the problem away. |
