Manual for Elesar's CloudFS?

Hi, I bought CloudFS from Elesar, via !Store, many moons back and have only just gotten around to installing it. Does anyone have the manual to hand they could share, or simply tell me what the settings should be in OmniClient to configure the server connection? I’ve tried PCloud as the server name, plus my email address and password for PCloud, and while it seems to accept these okay and OmniClient shows the PCloud icon but when I click on it I get an error; “Error when reading Cloud::PCloud.$ – Not found” – hoping the manual will provide the correct settings or if anyone knows what’s causing this? Thanks in advance. =)

Hi, I bought CloudFS from Elesar, via !Store, many moons back and have only just gotten around to installing it.

Not 100% sure how the process with the !Store works, but I am pretty sure you should have received an !Installer app that would download the CloudFS plugin for Omniclient for you.

The CloudFS comes as two files, one is a RISC OS Module (called CloudFS) and the other is an Obey file called Starup.

Before you try to install it:

• Make sure you have an OmniClient recent enough
  • If in doubt get a copy of HardDisc4 on ROOL download area and copy the new !Omni

The Module should be placed inside your !Omni (Omniclient app) → RMStore

The startup file can be be used in two ways:

• (simple) Just copy it into your !Omni → Files (and so replace the existing Startup file there)
• (advanced) Just add the specific bits for CloudFS to your !Omni → Files → Startup file

In any case to have the CloudFS module loaded when you load your !Omni you must set the following variable to 1

SetEval Omni$Cloud    1

in the !Omni → Files → Startup

When you’re done with that, load your !Omni and then try to connect to your pCloud account using the normal OmniClient procedures, for example:

• Click with the middle mouse button on “Net” on the iconbar to open OmniClient menu
• And then click on Menu → Mounts → Protocols → Cloud

Fill up the form with the info you have received on your email from pCloud.

Now the tricky stuff:

• Make sure the Cloud module has been loaded by your OmniClient:
  • Open a TaskWindow ( [CTRL] + [F12])
  • Type: Help Cloud
  • Check that the Help is displayed
• For server Name use: PCloud (make sure same upper cases/lower cases)
• To reach the root in your pcloud shared drive put “/” (just the slash, no double quotes) in the field: Directory Path
• User name user email account with which you have activated your pCloud account
