PiSpi: where art though?

Hi everyone, I’ve managed to get GPIO working via the built in GPIO module, but can’t seem to find support or examples for SPI. I’m trying to interface with the waveshare 9.7 inch wink display. The code it comes with is for raspbian. I read about a PiSPI module for Risc OS but the website is longer available.Any pointers? |

I believe the site was owned by Bill Antonia. However, taking a slightly different tack you might find someone who has a copy, or engineered the same – have a look on this site here – specifically the PaPiRus software. |

OK so Bill’s site may not be available but Jon Abbott had the PiSPI module available in his pi-topUtils I don’t know where the source is available from. Update: Link updated to Pi-TopsUtils 107 with PiSPI in. |

Yeah, I saw that but it also says “PiSpi module required”… Are there any other official or unofficial module for SPI? (Post above mine: We posted at the same time. Will look at that) |

Are there any other official or unofficial module for SPI? Is not one source sufficient? PiSPI is distributed with SatNav (which can control a PaPiRus) with Bill’s permission. |

Hi, was too occupied last year supporting teaching staff whilst at home so was not looking at the forum posts. I know this is an old thread but the source for PiSPI is downloadable from Here By all means, use the module, if you make any changes please let me know so it can be improved. The SWI range is registered so shouldn’t clash with other modules. |
