ViewXLS

Hi,

I’ve just joined this forum because it looks like I might get some advice on View XLS. I’ve had it on my RISC PC (RISC OS Adjust 4.39)for years (a 2004 version I think). The only problem was that I couldn’t view .xlsx files . I’ve tried downloading a newer version of ViewXLS (dated 3.1.2011) but that would not display them either. Am I doing something wrong or is there a later version I could try, please?

You might want to try the latest version (0.23beta) from http://home.allgaeu.org/areiser/riscos/software/viewxls/ to see if that helps. It’s gained some support for XLSX files, in addition to the original XLS format.

Thanks. I’ve downloaded version tells me that I need Iconv 0.12 or later. I’m searching around but could you point me to where I can find it please?
