ChangeFSI 1.64 not loading PNGs

ChangeFSI 1.64 on the Titanium and RPi400 can save PNGs. The catch is that it cannot load PNGs, assuming that it should and is not work in progress. Dropping a PNG onto ChangeFSI’s iconbar icon results in either a Zlib decompression failure or a data abort at 10825. Test PNGs are here |

Just tried them with 1.61 on an ARMX6 and all 3 loaded in ChagneFSI no problems. |

They load fine here too…
…but beware the bear trap of ZLib being broken at the moment. Use the one from 5.28 (the module is exactly 45736 bytes long). |

Thanks, that was it. |

It looks to be fixed in Nightly Beta HardDisc4, 2021-02-25. The ZLib is of the exactly right length of 45736. And ChangeFSI 1.64 does load PNGs. |

Looks like it has also fixed AcornHTTP as well as that is again 42300 in size. So guess the fixes do seem to be because of DDE30a. |

Hmm, my current compiler is 5.82 (why haven’t I updated? the archive is there…) so I can’t blame the weirdness of Manga on that. ;-) Unfortunately I’m just not seeing these problems on my Pi2 (malloc failed), and the reports I’m getting make no sense. The only commonality seems to be that wiping the cache clears the issue, but if the files are over 12 hours old, they’re recreated anyway. Plus the cache behaviour isn’t something I’ve changed in a while (my cache is half a gigabyte!). So… um… |
