Hi all, I see I’ve found my original post from the last time I tried installing WebJames…doing a fresh install on a Pi so maybe Rick’s font of knowledge can answer this. Installed the newer WebJames (with PHP) !RunImage from riscosports.co.uk over the old one from www.cp15.org. Home page at http://localhost/ loads fine but the webart.php example doesn’t produce the image from the PHP code. I feel sure this came up last time…but can’t for the life of me remember how it was resolved, anyone any ideas? thanks |

Sorry. I don’t recall where I downloaded mine, but it’s specifically the non-PHP version that I use. But, okay, let’s download the stuff and see what happens.
Works for me. You need to choose a shape and then click on the blank graphic in order to place the shape at that location. |

Have you had to update the RunImage file, Rick? Sorry for all the questions. The area of the webpage webart.php produces where (I assume) a black rectangle should appear doesn’t show here. Clicking around where that rectangle should be does nothing. |

The one I normally use is a non PHP build. Don’t remember where I got it, sorry. It’s from a while back (but thankfully works fine on the Pi3B). As for your test, I did what you did. Got WebJames from cp15 and then dropped the updated RunImage from riscosports on top. It’s a white rectangle with the date (or time? some bunch of numbers) visible at the bottom. Probably would have been better to pop a frame around the image to make it clearer where it is… |

Think I’ve sorted it. After downloading and installing the old version from http://www.cp15.org/ I had downloaded the VFP version of !WebJames from (strangely not linked to on the and not the one from www.riscosports.co.uk/webjames.zip (2) (1) started up fine but as noted webart.php wasn’t working. So I patched the !RunImage file from (2) with !PatchSWP from tellima.nl/riscos/rpi3patch.zip and all is now well. I don’t know why but, hey, problem solved :) Something to do with alignment exceptions on/off? I notice the !CPU boot plugin comes with ROOL-issued Pi SD Cards but mine is a ‘home-blown’ SD card, does anyone know where to download a copy of the !CPU plugin? Or another way of switching?.
