LSR – logical shift right?

The company logo gives a very strong nod in that direction. That said, we’ve got it from the horse’s mouth, so to speak, so there’s no need to guess. To quote from The WROCC, in June 2017’s report of Rob’s first visit to Wakefield:

“The name Elesar – or ‘>L>SAR’, as it’s presented in its stylised form – is a play on the LSR mnemonic used by ARM assemblers. Robert explained that good, available domain names are becoming rarer now, and it’s necessary to choose a name carefully.”

My Elesar Titanium arrived today and, guess what, having plugged in the usual power cable, monitor, mouse, keyboard and network cable, it works! In fact, I am typing this post using it and the Netsurf V3.10 that came with the computer. I didn’t have to configure anything. Brilliant!
