Pi4 Audio Out

Good Morning,

Having some trouble with the 3.5 audio out jack on my Pi4. HDMI audio works great. I added the following lines to my config.txt but after rebooting, I get no audio from HDMI or the 3.5 jack.

hdmi_ignore_edid_audio=1
audio_pwm_mode=2

Opening !Configure and then the Sound option all I have is VCHIQ analogue/HDMI audio in the drop down

Well, it seems even though I have the options set, audio is still coming from HDMI. I just didn’t give the MP3 time enough. I also tried adding hdmi_drive=1

All fixed. Seems you can’t make changes to config.txt from the Loader directory. Opening the microSD card from my other computer and making the change worked. Anyway to get more volume out of the PI? Audio is set to max and it’s just OK.

If you move !Boot, then Loader will no longer point to the FAT partition, just itself.

I just figured out what I did wrong. I have two !Boot folders, one that lives on my SSD with entire boot structure with its own Loader folder and a separate !Boot folder on my SD card with the Loader folder for actually booting the Pi4. Been ahwile since I had to go looking for that folder on a Pi!
