Textile Oddity

This is to test what Textile does to SQR. The end of that line was typed as the BASIC expression for the square root of 3 and the result, as can be seen, is that it drops off the bracketed 3 bit. According to the html source code for the page, SQR is an acronym and 3 is its “title”. Weird or what? |

It’s a Textile feature to allow acronyms to be “explained” if you hover the mouse over the acronym. It’s not particularly useful as there’s no indication on-screen that the acronym actually has help text. It gets a brief mention on the Textile Quick Reference page (linked from the ROOL Forum help page) and a more detailed write-up on the main Textile Reference page. |

Thanks for the references which I have read. I got round the problem in a post to the Graphic Challenge topic in the General subforum by using the “pre” tags with the BASIC program copied and pasted in between. |
