Makefile recreated from fragments

What does this actually mean? It kind of brings to mind using a sector editor to find bits of the file in blocks that got compacted, and carefully piecing together the bits to recreate an intact file…

If I understand it correctly, it actually means “rebuilt makefile so that it uses the shared makefile system”. Presumably each ‘chunk’ of the shared makefile system is called a fragment.
