Over time there has been many File converter Progs. Looking at !TextEase – there is/was a Prog for converting TextEase output to Html which can be dropped into !EasyWriter – then outputted as Doc – to !OvationPro. These two converters Progs are 26bit – have they been updated? |

Current versions of TextEase will save as HTML directly, by clicking on the appropriate file icon in the Save As box. Of course there will always be elements that can’t be described accurately with HTML, such as pixel level positioning, but it’s a means to “scrape” the basic document structure. For a single page, saving as Draw will do a more faithful job of the positions, but the text will no longer reflow if the page is changed unless EasyWriter or OvationPro are really clever at import. |
