BeagleBone

Hello, I was interested in this and trying RISC OS on it with the Beagleboard offerings on the ROOL store. I did some searching and saw that it may not work on a BeagleBone. A local store has a few BeagleBone Black Rev C in stock. However, can’t find any results from after 2016 and was wondering if this has perhaps changed. |

The Beagle series boards are rather old now. (I used a BeagleBoard xM for years until it broke. A Raspberry Pi was much cheaper than a straight replacement, and performed far better.) I don’t think the BeagleBone ever got much traction in the world of RISC OS, so, if something doesn’t work for you, there may not be many people able to help you or to reproduce the symptoms. Unless the difference in cost is very important to you, I would recommend that you use a Raspberry Pi instead, which are by a long way the most popular hardware platforms for RISC OS. |

Thank you. I will go the Raspberry Pi route. Was curious however as a local place had some in stock. |
