Is the allocation email address working

A few days ago I sent an email for a new application allocation and got a Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender.

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error.

I sent an e-mail recently and got a reply by return of post! What address did you use?

The one I used was

allocateATriscosopen.org

Sent on the 27 December

I sent one on the 22 November and that one was OK

Perhaps it is Xmas and the office is shut until 4 Jan?

ERROR CODE :550

Normally associated with a non-existent mail account.
So, either that mailbox doesn’t currently exist on the server, or you produced a typo in the address.

The resent email worked got a reply and new application name approved.
