erm… Are you sure you can get that resolution through the VGA connector on the monitor? I bought one of those monitors for my dad a few months back and that resolution was only available from the Dual Link DVI and DisplayPort inputs… Also, from memory, the Iyonix graphics card will only do 2048×1538. |

No. Because I made an MDF by doubling and quadrupling the values in a 720p MDF and it reported out of range. However I tried to do a 30Hz version and it displayed but compressed in the middle of the screen.
This might be the case, which is why I was oping for a known good MDF. It is a bit rubbish if it is the case, because it would be an artificial limit for VGA.
I think that is the spec for DVI. Others have posted success at higher resolutions. |

I wrote a 2560×1960 MDF from my Iiyama Pro514, but it’s only 50Hz so only of intellectual use. Although theoretically an LCD monitor could be usable with that resolution and refresh, they tend to require much tighter definition of the various value to get a working display. i.e. Not just doubling. |
