A410/1 shows red screen. Switching on with Delete key pressed does not help. Or was it another key? |

It is a long time ago so not sure, but ‘R’ for reset? The other thing to look at is flashing of the floppy drive LED for error states. |

Do you get any Floppy Disc LED flashing at boot? (you know, the RO error code on boot mechanisms). If so, what error code do you see on the Floppy Disk driver LED? Annotate the LED flashing and you can also use this link to determine the error status: https://www.retro-kit.co.uk/page.cfm/content/Common-RISC-OS-POST-failure-errors/ There is a tool on that page on the column on the right, you can simply click on the small boxes that represent the LED LONG flashing and it will give you back the actual error code. |
