ABC v5.0 compiled module query

I have a simple module compiled with ABC v5.0

It accepts a number of commands which do things, but output nothing to the screen.

When I type the command on a local computer, all is fine.

But if I use !Avalanche to type the command on a remote system, I get three blank lines appear after the command.

Adding PRINT ""; to the module fixes the output problem. Is that to be expected?

This using !Avalanche v0,26 on a Pi 4 running OS 5.28
and VNC Server v0,21 on Pi 3B Running OS 5.24

Running VNC server on another 5.28 Rasperry Pi 4 gives much the same results, but not identically so. The presence or absence of the 3 blank lines is less predictable!
