Titanium Help

I finally got my Titanium put in a case. The LEDs light up but nothing comes up on the screen. All I get is LED 202 blinking. Any ideas? I have my DVI plugged into SK102 as the manual states. |

Seems that’s the LED for the boot rom |

If you bought it from Elesar, it might be worth using one of your support tickets? |

I did reach out to them. Just wondering if it was something common. Not sure if I can try booting from a MicroSD card? |

One possibility comes to mind. The Titanium specifies 16M colours at 1920 × 1080 @ 60fps. It can display larger but there a couple of simple hoops first to get that to work. With a Full HD monitor there should be something on the screen even if any connected drives are empty. A way to detect life in a blank screen situation is F12 to the command prompt then CTRL-G should beep.
The “wrong” DVI port outputs an 800*600 static graphic. That would be worth a look if there is a monitor or bandwidth problem.
The Titanium will boot from an SDFS microSD or a SCSI USB device, it will not boot from anything FAT formatted. |

The bootloader and the ROM /Kernel (for the Linux only Titanium) are placed on board and is flashable from the OS. So only the second state of booting is possible from SDFS, USB or SATA. |

LED 201 is on in standby and off if the Ti is booting or on. |

Long story short it was the power supply. I ended up purchasing a Corsair PSU instead of the Silverstone that I had originally purchased which was more expensive but a nice conversation with Elesar Support got me in the right direction. I did try adding a load with fan and a mechanical HDD but that still wasn’t enough. Going to prep my SSD tonight but at least it’s booting now. |

I had a 550W no-name PSU that could only power the Titanium correctly if in addition to the board and the SSD, there was also a HDD and two DVD writers connected. I think you need to look for “zero load design” and/or “support for C6/C7 Deep Power Down modes” to find a suitable PSU. I ended up with a be quiet! Straight Power 10 (400W). |
