Draw Render in a draw file

Exactly the same with my XP1TrForm…and I might actually make it do things with text now, too. I should revisit some stuff I did when I was working at the Scottish Schools’ Equipment Research Centre. Distorting drawfiles in various ways to give perspective views – of the original drawfile lying flat, or rolled around a cylinder or a cone. (Text really did have to be converted to path for that.) Quite different sorts of things, like a program to draw gear wheels and screw threads viewed from different angles. These things could be much better than I could do on an A540 in 1991… |

Oops! It falls a bit short, which may be a rounding error, perhaps. I did say in the !ReadMe that I was not happy with the units. ;-( Anyway, I have followed Clive and gone for millimetres. The revised Transform seems to get it right, but I await your report. There is also a problem with plain Sprites to think about. |

I think that’s the point at which I bow out. Even text is really beyond my interest, given the mismatch between RISCOS and TrueType or PostScript fonts. Really my interest in Draw is that I like doing vector graphics in Draw, and being able to fiddle with them in BASIC, but then export them to use on the Mac (as SVG). The converse process interests me far less. |

Bonjour, @Steve, I tested the latest version, it’s OK, nice. The modification for the text elements is not done yet and all the Path operators are not corrected. For information Svg2Draw uses eXML (from Xat) not included in the zip file. I recommend the very useful !MkDrawf application, I used it to replace postscript outputs in !PariGP2132 to draw curves. and for – 1st class honours in Maths — Sorry my website is not a model of its kind… |

Bonjour, Missing features like transparency/opacity, can be done with !ArtWorks. |

Just done a few quick test with Svg2Draw and it handled everthing I threw at it, One area where it beats NetSurf’s SVG to Draw conversions is that yours can handle the SVG files that my QrCode application creates. |

Thanks Kevin for testing. Nice to see your QrCode displayed, Useful for producing a large format version… |

Ye Jean My app just sends the information to the server with the size and what format is required. The size is between 25 and 1000 pixels |
