Dropping a dud printer from a height, and then smacking it with a pickaxe was quite cathartic. ;)

My treatment of dud printers is subtly different. I dismantle them carefully, bin or recycle anything I can’t imagine a repurposing of, and store the rest. This results in a fantastic collection of might-be-useful-one-day rubbish, which made moving from a large house in Cambridgeshire to a small one in Inverclyde quite an interesting operation.

But the dismantling and sorting process is definitely cathartic. And over the years a significant (if small…) proportion of the rubbish has proved useful.
