Help with Armadeus File Format

Does anybody have any information about the Armadeus file format? Typing Armadeus file format RISC OS into Google doesn’t bring anything up. I think the Armadeus format was created by Clares when they produced the I’m trying to update a module called Code, which may have been provided Does anybody know about this module Code, and have documentation for the Jon Robinson, Leeds |

Are you sure it’s an actual module called “Code” and not just a blob of assembler that the program would load? Because I’ve seen dozens of examples of bits of prebuilt assembler with exactly that name, and written a few myself. Does it have a regular module header? If so, how does it identify itself in the header? (module title string, SWI decoding table, etc) 1 Excerpt from 24i16 Multimedia System user guide on Chris’s Acorns. Tenth result down for me. |

I was sure I had some notes on this somewhere, but I can’t find them. I seem to remember that the first byte of a Armadeus sample file indicated the sample rate somehow. |

Apparently I know everything there is to know about this format. As James says, the first byte is the sample rate, and the rest of the bytes are 8bit mono signed linear. And that’s it. You can calculate the duration from the file length and the first byte. |
