Disc Error 26?

Does anyone know what “Disc Error 26” means? It doesn’t seem to be listed in the FileCore Disc Errors

No idea what it actually means, but I remember seeing that when my Iyonix’s PSU started failing.

It’s an IDE CRC error.

It is. Thanks for the tip, I’ll try another PSU as I’ve never seen the error on either of my previous Iyonix (when they were working many years ago)

That was my guess as well. When I did a write/read verify I noticed what can best be described as “bit rot”. As the “bit rot” was occurring on every drive I tried, I think I can rule out the discs. I tried a variety of spinning rust, SSD and SD just for good measure. It was all on the Secondary PATA though, so I’ll test the Primary next to see if its a more general issue.
