Gutenprint, Raspberry Pi

I have set up Gutenprint (NutPi version) on my Raspi. Everything seems to be set up correctly, but it is not printing. The driver is loaded. The connection is set properly (USB).

When I try to print, the Gutenprint Printer Driver window appears and tells me that it is printing. The progress bar moves along and then it finishes with a ‘Printed 1 page’ message.

At the same time I have the printer queue open, but nothing appears there at all. Pretty sure I’m not printing to a file.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It looks like the problem is with the printer. It is not working under windows xp either. We put a refilled cartidge in, but forgot how to reset it! Need to speak to the lady in the refill shop again.
