USB driver not recognized after start ...

I have a PI, the RC8 Risc OS version, an external powered USB-hub and and that hub I have a CF drive attached, formated via FAT32.

Whenenver I power up the PI, the external drives are not found – I have to remove the CF drive and attach it again against the USB hib and only then the drive is found …

I turn on the power of the USB hub BEFORE I turn of the power of the PI.

Can this be fixed or can I force an additional USB search manually or any other hint how to solve it .?

You can use USBKick to wake up your drive.
