Beagleboard Time and Date Setting Changes Intermittently on Power-up

My Boot.Configuration “Time and date” setting changes from “Set from the network” to “Set manually”. Fault occurs intermittently on power-up. Because I don’t have battery backup the default time and date is set (1am, 2/1/70). A re-boot is required to correct it. What is likely to cause this? I have tried various EtherUSB and Nettime re-initialisations in Obeyfiles all to no effect. RISC OS 5.19 (14-Mar-13) |

Sounds like you could be suffering from the intermittent ‘Resolver’ not working problem. rmreinit resolver If that doesn’t work try updating to the lastest rom or if you’re using dhcp maybe this is failing. |

I’ve noticed the Resolver module (0.69) is dated 11 Jul 2004 – so quite old. |
