MilkyTracker

I’ve been using !MilkyTracker for quite a while to arrange my samples for my game and have not had any problems. Now, it seems, something has changed or broken and !MilkyTracker refuses to succesfully start up. I get this error - Sound driver initialization failed. Try different settings or driver In the config options there is only SDLAudio as an option and cannot find this anywhere. Don’t know if I’m looking at this in the right way as this kind of thing is beyond me, shamefully so. Can anyone suggest a fix for this or let me know whats going on or point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. Greg |

A search of this forum might help. The current version of Milkytracker, 0/90/86_1, on PackMan starts up without arguing about anything on the Titanium and RPi400. The only audio driver on offer is SDL Audio. HTH. |

Maybe the DigitalRenderer module isn’t getting loaded which is needed for SDL audio. Try, *help DigitalRenderer Sometimes DigitalRenderer gets stuck. Try, *rmreinit DigitalRenderer |

Yeah, Ive got that version and still the same issue. Took a look at my Iyonix and it has a working copy of Milkytracker but no sound. Copied it across to my RPI2b and got the same issue. So I think it is not the app itself, just a guess, but something has changed and I have absolutely no idea what. Thanks anyhow :-( |
