Iyonix &FC02F584

Hi

I’ve recently acquired an Iyonix motherboard and I’m trying to get it working just for fun. The machine always boots to Supervisor and if I type desktop I get an error. Clicking describe gives

Internal error: abort on data transfer at
&FC02F584

The desktop seems relatively operational, except the configure menu is greyed out. Trying to run boot (from the hard disc 4 image) gives an error you cannot reconfigure this machine. If I run some parts of the boot manually I can run the configure app. Then if I try and change the screen configuration I get the same error

I reflashed the machine to 5.28 which completed successfully and made no difference. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might try next?

The fix may be to for OS5.29.

Thanks for the response, this was a classic x,y problem. The reason I was booting to desktop from supervisor is the disk I was using hadn’t been set to boot correctly. So running opt 4,2 fixed that issue and now riscos boots to the desktop correctly. If I shift boot into supervisor and go to the desktop I get the same error but that doesn’t matter.
