Installing dejavu fonts

Hi all, I’ve tried searching the forums without much luck, I can install RiscOS fonts, but can’t work out how to install unixfonts? Namely the dejavu fonts which I need to be able to play freeciv. I’m sure it’s something blaringly obvious that I’m not doing but any assistance would be appreciated |

As far as I know, the dejavu fonts should be installed in exactly the same way as RISC OS fonts. If they are grouped within a !Fonts folder (like the dejavu fonts that came with Fontpack 1 from EFF), just double click that folder, otherwise copy them to a !Fonts folder and double click it. However, if you’ve downloaded them from the internet as TTF fonts or something similar, you should first convert them to RISC OS fonts, using !TTF2f |

Thanks for your help Paul, I had downloaded them as TTFs. |

If you download freeciv using PackMan, it will download and install these dependencies |

I did install via PackMan and the fonts weren’t installed. |

On my system, dejavu was intalled in Apps.Fonts.!UnixFont.truetype when I installed freeciv from PackMan just now. |
