You’ll laugh at this one, but RISC OS doesn’t support WiFi, you’ll need to use Ethernet. |

The correct statement is: but RISC OS doesn’t support WiFi natively yet, though you can use an ethernet to WiFi adaptor to provide that functionality. Yes it is a bit of a pain at the moment and not without additional expense but hopefully things will change this year :-) |

Natively, no.
…to plug in a WiFi adaptor, like I’ve been doing for about a decade. Next? |

There is also I believe the Wi-Fi HAT from Elesar. |

There is, and it works well! At least on my 3A. |

There is also I believe the Wi-Fi HAT from Elesar. Our WiFi HAT is available (optionally) with a real time clock too since the Pi doesn’t have a battery backed clock on board. HATs are easy to fit, no soldering required, just push onto the 40 pin header. |

I can vouch for this from my own use. The Elesar WiFi HAT is also reliable, easy to use and acceptably quick (slower than wired, but not much). |

I can vouch for a wifi→ethernet adaptor being a good solution. The legend Rick suggested a Vonets one some years ago that I’ve been using ever since. It works really well. I think it’s called “VAP11G”, it wasn’t expensive at the time. |
