Where can I find source or documentation on srcbuild and romlinker?

Building RISC OS, I’m trying to roll my own Components file and have obviously screwed up somewhere.

The symptom is that romlinker is asked to include a file called 65536 (the size of the HAL space) during the join phase.

HAL size files are in Export.APCS-32.Hdr.Global.HALSize.64K. There is one for 64K.

The required HAL size file is called from the Product Env file, eg. RiscOS.Env.ROOL.BCM2835

Obviously the components file is being interpreted in a way I don’t understand.

Never mind, I rolled my own.

Leave space for the CKernel (where the HAL would be).
Append the Kernel file (starts “OSIm”), apart from the final word (value zero).
For each rom module, append the size of the file + 4, and the file itself.
When you get to the HeroNames, ignore it and append a final 4 zero bytes to terminate the module list.

It doesn’t do a checksum, etc.
