Pinebook RISC OS 5.30

A really silly question tonight — the downloads page for Pinebook only has the Beta rom image 5.31…is there a stable 5.30 for Pinebook?

IIRC ROOL only issued 5.30 for platforms they were comfortable supporting themselves. Out of respect, we haven’t issued our own 5.30 releases for the other platforms, but rather 5.31 builds with effectively identical functionality. 5.31 (from a few weeks after 5.30) also has a handful of useful bug fixes in, too, making it (IMHO) preferable to 5.30 vanilla.

The original Pinebook (white) saw an official release from us last month, alongside OS upgrades for roughly 11 systems across 6/7 generations. There were a lot! Check the login info in the Welcome booklet to access the download site. Note that due to using a Realtek chip rather than the more common Broadcom ones, there’s no wifi on the white Pinebook (yet?), I’m afraid.
