I’m afraid that’s normal with the built-in TCP/IP stack. There’s a third-party one that may be faster, but I haven’t tried it myself (I had some compatibility issues with it, although I believe they’ve been fixed in subsequent updates). |

Thanks Chris for the hot tip! Nice improvment, looks to be double at about 1000KB/s |

My Pi4 uses the ROD TCP/IP stack in conjunction with RO 5.30. My broadband service notionally supplies c. 36 Mbps to the router, and I get 15-20 Mbps via Ethernet at the Pi (speed checked using OpenSpeedTest <www.openspeedtest.com>). WiFi via the ROD stack also works, but at about half the speed. Using CloudFS to access PCloud gives 13-1800 KB/sec download and around 6-700 KB/sec upload*. HTH. [*Running !Speed (under Aemulor) on the PCloud directory gives the lower speeds (1300 KB/s down, 600 KB/s up); disabling multi-tasking and downloading/uploading a single 38 MB zipfile gives 1800/700 KB/s] |
